Dear Sir/Madam

Account No:

We refer to our recent letter and your reply regarding the above account.

We are disappointed that you will not accept our offer of payment. We carefully considered our financial situation before we made our offer to you. As we have no available income, we have offered you a token payment as a gesture of goodwill.

If we offered you a higher amount, it would be unfair to our other creditors. Also, we cannot afford to pay any more due to our current circumstances.

We have sent all of our other creditors a copy of our budget summary and have so far accepted our offer of payment.

If you sue us in the County Court, we would continue to offer this amount and we are confident it would be accepted by the court.

We would therefore be grateful if you would reconsider your reply to our offer.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully
